  • Presentation – How well do you present? Do you know what the most appropriate dress code is for an interview?

  • Overall 1st Impression - Do you understand the importance of 1st impressions at interview? Do you understand how they impact on the remainder of the interview? Do you know how to make a positive 1st impression?

  • Communication Skills – How do you rate your ability to communicate a message in a precise, succinct manner that gives the interviewer all of the information that he/she requires?

  • Body language – Do you understand the importance of body language in communicating to others?

  • Preparation – Do you know what to prepare and what you are expected to know for an interview?

  • Answering difficult questions – Do you know how to answer difficult questions? Do you know how to turn a difficult question to your advantage?

  • Knowledge of interview styles and types – Are you aware of the different interview styles and types such as behavioral event interviewing, situational interviewing, competency based interviewing etc.?

  • Differentiating Yourself – Do you do anything to ensure that you ‘stand out’ at the interview?

  • Closing the interview – How do you close the interview? Do you know how to leave a lasting impression?

  • Interview follow up – Do you know when and how to follow up with an employer after an interview?
